KINISI-KAFO
Design and fabrication of a Κnee-ankle-foot orthosis (KAFO) from kinisiforo LTD provides support and correction to the knee, ankle and foot. The purpose of KAFO- orthosis can improve mobility, body alignment and posture, increase bone and muscle strength, and enhance independence and self-esteem to patients with disabilities. The design was done by KINISIFORO LTD in order to create correct measurements in accordance with our kinesiology expertise. We use robotic 3d printing using granular deposition modeling fabrication technique to fabricate our KAFO system which provides custom results based on the client needs. This program was funded by Research innovation foundation under the innovoucher program.
